• Built a data ingestion and transformation platform end-to-end — enabling decisioning on millions of financial transactions daily — converting a manual, professional services-style ETL process into a self-serve product feature
• Pioneered LLM-assisted coding practices across product engineering, building internal tools that surfaced the right context to accelerate developer workflows
• Founded and led Alloy’s Observability guild, setting eng-wide instrumentation standards that improved visibility of app performance, and gave product teams repeatable patterns to detect latency and find issues faster

• Used my AWS expertise to work closely with product engineering teams to adopt new services that unlocked product capabilities, all while keeping cloud costs in check as the platform scaled
• Built and maintained repeatable, auto-monitored infrastructure building blocks that enabled faster time-to-market and demand-based scaling for latency-critical applications

Datto provides enterprise-grade software including cloud backup, endpoint management, email-based threat detection, and CRM tools to businesses around the world.

• Led a greenfield Kubernetes (EKS) deployment on AWS, building a cloud-native platform from scratch and helping drive the company’s shift to microservices and containerization, all while simultaneously standing up a greenfield on-prem OpenStack private cloud
• Designed, authored, and released code written in Python to automate operational tasks

• Reported directly to CIO and CISO to define the Enterprise technology roadmap, and implemented company wide security objectives relating to SOC 2 Type II
• Scoped and drove the project to implement modern SSO at Datto, unifying authentication API-based user provisioning functionality across hundreds of applications and 1000+ employees.

• Engineered Datto’s internal platform, including identity and directory services, device management, and automated provisioning workflows, with a focus on making systems that employees actually loved using, not just tolerated
